Kate Andrews

Co-Founder and Managing Director

With a background in sectors as diverse as finance, retail, leisure and travel, entertainment and telecommunications Kate brings a degree of experience and expertise to her role as company Director that few in her field can match.

Prior to co-founding Konductor Ltd, the 2014 Female Leader of the Year Finalist accumulated almost two decades of experience in senior marketing roles at Matalan, UCI Cinemas and Alliance and Leicester.

Latterly she was company Director overseeing and leading growth and return for finance company Paymex Group and the UK’s largest independent telecoms and IT provider, Daisy Group. She is now working with prominent clients in the fast moving payments industry including UK Finance and Open Banking.

The proud mother and fashion enthusiast has a passion and demonstrable talent for strategic and digital marketing, brand-building and inspirational leadership that is changing how Konductor’s clients do business forever.

Katharine McNamara

Cofounder, Communications and ESG Director

Former journalist, Customer Satisfaction Manager, Head of PR and captain of Accrington Stanley Ladies, Katharine’s many talents and rich experience have propelled her to a position befitting someone with such outstanding work ethic and natural ability.

 
With a degree in English and Classics from The University of Nottingham she has demonstrated an exceptional aptitude for delivering brand awareness, business strategy and ROI through a mastery of language and communication.
 
An excellent communicator, writer, strategist and Marketeer, she has more than 16 years working for some of the UK’s biggest technology firms, including BT, O2 and Daisy Group, collectively working across 30+ mergers and acquisitions. She is now supporting some of the UK’s most exciting tech and fintech businesses, including Paym, Open Banking and AccessPay.

Reverend Adrian Burholt

Product and Customer Specialist

Adrian is an IT and Telecommunications professional who specialises in business strategy and proposition development and delivery.
 
His experience spans across many facets of the telecoms industry, holding positions at Cable and Wireless and Vodafone.
 
He has worked in a variety of roles covering handset manufacture, infrastructure, distribution, service provision and network, through to service marketing, strategy, consumer and enterprise proposition development and delivery.
 
A true innovator, he was co-creator of Vodafone Live! (the first mobile multi-media proposition) and the award winning ‘Vodafone Simply’. Latterly, he was a co-founder and chief executive of The Key Revolution, an award-winning revenue-generating cloud computing business.
 
Adrian holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent and whilst still working in telecoms he’s pursued a different walk of life as he trains to become a vicar.

Dr Jacqui Rigby

Associate Director Strategy and Planning

Jacqui is a transformational leader. She has a strong record for combining technical, customer and commercial experience to refine business strategy and translating it into action.  She has designed and delivered large systems, organisational and cultural programmes of work.

Known as a business problem solver and someone who cuts through the noise, engages and aligns teams to deliver commercial, customer and people outcomes, she has multi-sector experience for global brands as well as SME start-ups.

Richard Koch

Associate Director

Richard is a world-leading authority in the fast moving payments space, with recognition for navigating complex stakeholder environments and producing results that deliver a tangible difference for consumers.
 
With considerable experience in developing and deploying innovative and effective ways to engage with EU and UK policy makers on a wide range of payment and consumer credit issues, over the past decade Richard has been at the centre of evolving legislation and regulation, delivering a number of globally-recognised projects receiving worldwide recognition.
 
Richard is well versed in blending market experience, has an expansive knowledge of the political and regulatory landscape with big data and new and emerging technologies, he is committed to designing and delivering innovation, driving new revenue opportunities and championing customer propositions and outcomes.

Janine Owen

Marketing Director

With a background of 20 years in the recruitment industry, Janine Owen is a marketing director who excels in devising and implementing creative and commercial strategies. Knowledgeable and experienced, she is passionate about creating a true marketing engine to create business success.

Having worked in house for 20 years, there are few people more experienced in recruitment marketing, whether that’s candidate attraction and engagement, lead generation, brand, digital and tech… the list is long! Janine is now excited to be able to work with a wider range of businesses to add value, create competitive advantage and drive success.

She is also determined to bust the myth of the ‘colouring in team’ and to prove to leaders that marketing is way more than a cost centre.

Bridget Aherne

Employee Engagement and Internal Communications Asc. Director

Bridget is an award-winning public relations leader whose work was recognised at 2018’s CIPR Excellence Awards, where she was named outstanding independent practitioner.
 
Bridget’s time in PR has seen her work for large public sector organisations including police, fire, local government and private sector businesses.
 
At Greater Manchester Police, she led communications for high-profile murders, international manhunts, terrorism issues and for operations to disrupt and capture organised crime gangs. 
 
At Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, Bridget quickly delivered a number of essential changes to move communications from a tactical to a more strategic function. Her work there was recognised at the 2015 CIPR Excellence Awards where she was awarded the title of CIPR & IoD PR Director of the Year.
 
Bridget has provided interim and project support for a number of organisations including Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Bristol City Council and KeolisAmey Metrolink.

Anthony McNamara

Content & Social Media Manager

Content and social media manager, Anthony has experience of a number of sectors including business development, property, education and construction. A highly skilled, creative, and original writer he produces content that is in high demand and consistently engaging.
 
Anthony produces all forms of content marketing. His unique style and approach has been used by start-up companies through to global multinationals to generate handbooks, guides, blogs, whitepapers, web copy, infographics, press releases, and biographies.
 
Anthony’s experience of various professional sectors, coupled with a natural flair for the creative, allows him to produce compelling, results-focused content that not only delights and intrigues, but delivers a measurable impact on the bottom line. Anthony’s style continually evolves with the ongoing demands and creative growth of the business enabling him to adapt to new projects with expertise.

Clare Rebecca Passmore

Associate Social Media Manager

Clare Rebecca Passmore is Konductor’s Social Media Manager helping us to strategically cultivate and grow our own online presence through social media channels. With vast experience from Saatchi and Saatchi, through to boutique B2B, Clare is expert at growing communities across all social platforms.

Gill Walsh

Marketing Support

Gill is a Brand Photography Specialist providing high quality on-brand images and content to a range of businesses in the North West and further afield. Prior to this, she spent over twenty years in Sales & Marketing roles in the Corporate IT Sector with long term relationships with clients such as QVC, Robert McBride and Provident Financial.

Gill not only brings with her a wealth of expertise in both Branding and Marketing, but she strongly believes the client experience is paramount, and this is at the forefront of everything she does. Gill provides both Marketing and Project Management support for a range of client and internal projects at Konductor.  

Louise O'Driscoll

Finance Manager

Louise O’Driscoll is a self-employed Bookkeeper and Credit Controller via MBL (Business and Tax Advisers) Ltd working for a number of businesses and trades in Greater Manchester.  
 
Louise has a background as a Medical Secretary then transitioned into training as an Accounting Technician in Manufacturing (due to realizing her brain was wired for numbers!) around 25 years ago and has experience working in the Construction, Retail, Hospitality and Finance Sectors. 
 
With a keen eye for problem solving and finding no challenge too big, the diversity of Louise’s experience enables her to work with Konductor efficiently and strategically running and aiding in balancing the finances of the business. 
 
Louise has worked with many inspirational people and continues to network across multiple businesses to advance her skills.

Steve Hancock

Digital Marketing Manager

Since qualifying with an honours degree in Digital Music Creation with a Digital Animation component, Steve has spent over a decade gaining experience in multi-channel marketing roles. These have included both in-house and agency side roles in a variety of industries, including service-based and eCommerce focused companies. 

Steve’s digital skillset is broad, encompassing Web Design and optimisation, SEO and CRO as well as the ability to work with and produce in a wide range of media styles, including audio and visual formats. He also has a good eye for the production and editing of engaging content, which adds significant strength to his approach to website design. 

Emma Beck

PR Director

Emma is a true PR professional with more than 25 years’ experience in public relations.

She has specific expertise in business support comms – Business Finance Solutions (Start Up Loans), Co Angel, the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub, Manufacturing Advisory Service; consumer PR  M&S Money, UCI Cinemas, Silentnight, National Express, Iceland, Vimto. Rocco Forte Hotels; B2B comms: – Daisy Group; legal firms including Slater Heelis and Appleyard Lees; franchise network Bright & Beautiful.

Deborah Simcock

PR Manager

Deborah, a member of the Chartered Institute of PR, started a career in marketing more than 25 years ago, moving into a PR role a few years later. She specialises in building the share of voice and profiles of technology companies, and has advised clients across the board; from listed and global corporates such as Cisco, HP and Peoplesoft, through to disruptive start-ups and emerging brands.
 
Having held both inhouse and consultancy positions, Deborah is able to develop campaigns that are aligned to her clients’ business goals that create measurable business gain. With experience across many industry sectors including telecommunications, education, healthcare, manufacturing and the public sector, Deborah has the ability to take complex technology issues and write meaningful, relevant content designed to engage and get tangible results.

Geraldine Vasey

PR Consultant

Geraldine is a PR, behaviour change, and communications consultant, supporting clients with internal and external communications programmes to achieve sales targets and build brand reputation. She works with in-house teams to provide expert counsel and hands on support across a range of industries including green energy, fintech, property, retail and automotive. Geraldine brings to Konductor an abundance of PR experience across a number of different brands.
